Our relationship is bizarre like that.
But at the end of the day, we both know that no matter how rough the ride will be, we just want to fall into/with each other. We understood each other better, opened up & realised our mistakes. It doesn't come with a snap of our fingers, but through tough times we've had while being together.
We learnt to give in, make up & move on.
We learnt to tear down our egos & say sorry.

Sentosa Outing Photos! WRITTEN: 10:51 PM

Feast your eyes, i'm gonna talk as little as possible mmkay?

After walking the wholeeeeeee stretch from Pahlawan to Tanjong Beach, which is where we wanted to go but couldn't find, we decided to settle at Pahlawan. Tired and sweaty but glad we had a nice spot under two trees. Heh.
^ Having our brunch once we settled down. Fried rice supposedly cooked by me. I asked my sister for help and she ended up cooking it up herself. Lol. I cooked the rice & fried the chicken fillets, though! =P
^ Ian's bday present from me (: A pair of sneakers from Animal!
^ The black Casio watch that has been sitting in my Wishlist like for EVER! Thank you soooo much for this, Bby!! I got a present too. Heh.
^ By the beach. Lovely time (:
^ Yes, he's really holding on to the metal bar the entire ride. Except when taking pictures cos he wants to act macho! HAHAHA. No pictures of our luge ride cos it's hard to take pictures, duh.
^ It really was a beautiful sunset.
^ We packed food from Vivo's Banquet and brought it up to the rooftop, enjoying dinner and the view. We also spotted a snogging couple right below us. Omg, hello?! You don't need privacy mehhh. Zzzz. Lol.

I had tonnes of fun, no joke!
Haven't had such pure peace in my head & heart when i'm enjoying myself in such a loooong time. This should happen more often, you hear me Love?!

Inpatient Pharmacy + Zoo WRITTEN: 11:59 PM
LAST DAY IN INPATIENT PHARMACY.
Yanru & I bought 8 Toblerones for Riza, Liza, Mr Ismail, Mr Woo, Joanne, Ms Wan, Kunan & Sahrin. Our favourites & those who treated us real nice. Haha. We also bought some stuff for the pantry!
After work, which ended near 7pm, we met Riza who was doing night pharmacy, and camwhored with her mega cool Nikon DSLR! Syiok la! I've yet to get pictures from her so will post it up much later. After which, the NYP girls, Yanru & I headed for dinner together at BBQ Chicken Cineleisure!

I've learnt so much in those 7 weeks i'm attached there and though it's not even halfway through my SIP, i feel like IP has brought the best out of it.

Now for the update on yesterday!
It was my off day. So i decided to spend the wholeeeeee day with Shafian. It was MY idea to meet him as early as 730am just because i don't have work but it was also MY fault for over-sleeping!!! Smart right! I woke up at 9am, scared as hell, shivering while trying to call & text Ian at the same friggin' time. I had a quick shower, packed my stuff and left to Ian's place.
I contacted him while walking towards his block. He off-ed his hp and didn't pick up his home phone! Imagine my horror at that point of time. Once i got to his block, i didn't think twice - went into the lift, press 5 and straight to his doorstep. It was 940am. I knocked on his door, no reply. I knocked some more, sms-ed his elder sister & 2nd brother, called his home countless times, knocked till my knuckles turned red.... When he finally woke up at 1050am.
I was so bloody mad at myself i actually cried.
Anyway, he woke up, packed, got ready and whatnots while i waited for him. His dad came home in between(!!) and we left at around 12pm. So this sweet boy of mine surprised me to the Singapore Zoological Gardens!!!!
Shocker #1: It was my initial plan to surprise him to the Zoo on his birthday in a week's time!
Great, now his surprise backfired to become MY surprise. Lol. But anyway i had 2 backup plans for his birthday surprise so, though i was disappointed i didn't get to surprise him first, i was still excited about my other 2 plans. Err, one of which he figured so we both decided to scrape that plan. 1 left.
So we went in and enjoyed watching the animal shows & feeding, TAKING TONNES OF PICTURES (*ahem, my dear boy here accidentally deleted all the pics we took!!), visiting my beloved adorable otters! Swear i want them as a pet!
Had lunch at KFC when Ian told me there's a 2nd part of his surprise after the Zoo. I'm like whaaaat? Then he began probing me about my surprise for his birthday. So he guessed Sentosa. HE WAS RIGHT. He totally ruined my 3 (read: T-H-R-E-E) plans for his birthday! Wah, good ah boy! But here's the real shocker.
Shocker #2: The 2nd part of the surprise he wanted to give me involves him bringing me to Sentosa after our Zoo trip. (!!!!!!)
I was so shocked at that shocker that i literally shouted "SHIIIIT! SERIOUSLY?!" so loudly the AngMoh couple beside us turned to look, ahahahaha. But you would be shocked too right! We actually had thoughts so alike, it scares me.
"Kite kan 2 jiwe 1 hati" - Awww, Bby!
So i forced him not to bring me to Sentosa yesterday so that we can go on his birthday instead. Hahahaha. SPOILER! Thennnnn, he suggested a movie so to CWP we go. He chose the movie. Andddd, i couldn't concentrate watching it because i don't like senseless movies!

Last Tuesday, Ms Wan - the senior pharmacist - brought Yanru & I around Wards to do bedside dispensing to discharged patients. We had the opportunity to do simple drug dispensing with painkillers. Ms Wan dispensed the more complex medications while we observed.
So we went on to the next patient who was an old malay lady. She was asleep and her husband was preparing everything that needs to be packed while waiting for the ambulance to take them home. Ms Wan started to dispense & patient counsel. I observed the patient who was bedridden and realised she had a tube going through her nose & just on the table, there were boxes of Ensure feeds. Obviously she can't eat and gets nutrition through feeds & a tube.
Because i had to translate some of what Ms Wan said to the malay man, i understood that the medications needs to be crushed and mixed with her feeds to enter her system. She was prescribed esomeprazole (which is unbelievably expensive for a tablet, psssh) and it shouldn't be crushed - just soaked in water. But her husband has been crushing it for months. Ok point is, from when i start to translate, i begin to realise that she has to take her meds through feeds. And when Ms Wan moved on to dispense the rest of the medications (which needs special instructions like take 30min before/after), i begin to see how faithful her husband is. He remembers every medication, what it's for and how to take it. He asks for another bottle of eye drops just in case. And he knows which medication is good for her bedsores..
I was so touched by this that i got so engaged in the patient counseling. They were both old. And i can't imagine how he is able to tend to her every need at home, being an old man himself. How does he cope with those heavy feeds and such? How does he remember when & what medications should be given? It's not a simple situation.
This was what i saw 4 days ago. I was so deeply touched and it left such a great impact on me that until today, i'm still in awe at how this man is so faithful & loving towards his bedridden wife. What i felt was more inspired rather than sympathy, although of course i'd feel the latter looking at her state.
Maybe love is amazing after all. (:Labels: Random

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. WRITTEN: 10:53 PM

Wait, i KNOW Shafian has OCD!
Earlier on when he fetched from me work & i was about to go home, he gave me a kiss on my right cheek... and my lips. And then i said bye & walked away. He was like, "waaaait, left cheek!". Knowing he has this urge to do things evenly, i purposely didn't let him have my left cheek. HAHA! He was like, "eyyy, uneven sey!". HAHAHAHAH! Weird right, this boy!!!!
Then awhile later after he washed up & we met again for dinner together, he sent me home again. And he freaking kissed my left cheek only!! He seriously have issues leh!!!!! HAHAHAHA. Everything must be even! I tapped one of his shoulders and he'll brush it off saying it's "not balanced". He taps his ezlink when boarding the bus and MUST tap out when he alights, even when he has concession!
He has to be diagnosed with some kind of OCD lor!

And then we headed to Vivo. Bought the "Long Things". They're chewy candies! We chose Watermelon, Sweet Apple & Bubblegum. Headed to the rooftop to chillax & snapsnap for a while. Lovely view + great company. Wish we could stay longer but i can't. Abg Wandi came over to my place & mum told me he's got noone to entertain him, hahaha. So we left Vivo at just 8pm :(
